Johnson County Genealogical Society meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of every month, except December, at the Dillon Depot, 302 N. Anglin, Cleburne, TX 76033. The public is encouraged to attend.
Quarterly
Our quarterly, Finders Keepers, is dedicated to preserving the historical records of Johnson County and is mailed to all members and exchanged with other societies.
In 2013 and 2014, we received two generous grants from The Portal to Texas History at the University of North Texas to digitize Finders Keepers and place them online at The Portal. The issues for the years 1985 - 1999 are now digitized. They may be accessed here:
